Because front license plates are relied upon for solving many crimes, they are valued by lawmakers and law enforcement. What this petition hopes to achieve is an OPTION for vehicle owners to use a state-issued decal the same size and reflective appearance as a standard metal license plate. It is assumed that with some front bumpers, a decal may not work well, but with most where the surface is adequately flat/planar, it offers a very effective and modern option.
