As of July 13th 2020 Governor Newsom shut down salons again giving the out to “move operations outside”. Instead of our state licensing department supporting this they immediately issued a statement saying working outside was against their guidelines. We are following all state guidelines by social distancing between stations, using proper PPE, sanitizing like we were trained to do. We can safely move outside and continue these practices. WE NEED OPTIONS TO PIVOT. This won’t be our last shut down and we need to be able to operate in some capacity. Restaurants are feeding people outside with no masks on so hairdressers should be able to cut hair outside with masks on.
