Judge Wells has a history of refusing to abide by the law and going on power trips in Department 2 J. Desert residents are protesting the judicial re-assignment of Judge Dale Wells as a family law judge in the Riverside Superior Court. A forensic audit of this court is desperately needed as the public sentiment is completely against Judge Dale Wells. The latest comments are as follows: "I am signing because Judge Wells has a reputation and has injured too many family's and need to be unseated and his cases need to be reexamined. How could this have gone on so long and from our own justice system. shame! I am signing this petition because I have witnessed the power trips Judge Wells goes on first hand. I have sat through many hearings, and every time he seems to out do himself and do what he pleases, instead of upholding the law he has sworn to abide by. I am signing this petition after having appeared before Judge Wells with our own family case, regarding my granddaughter. We had become aware of his reputation prior to appearance, and were very concerned. By the ti e our case was finished, our family was in total shock as to how Judge Wells handled our case. His demeaning manner towards women is unprofessional and shocking, and does not belong in the courtroom. We had thought we were the only family who felt this way, but upon doing more research on Judge Wells, it even more shocking and reprehensible to see that we are not alone. This needs to stop! Families who end up in court, are not there because they want to be there. They find themselves there because they have no other choice. We find ourselves in court, trusting the family law system to find a solution. These families who find themselves before Judge Wells, end up with shocking results.
