The comment of the mom who has experienced the outrageous actions of Judge Wells is as follows " I'm signing this petition because my daughter was taken from me after I had opened a child support case against her bio- dad who she had never lived with or had any relationship with him. My daughter was taken from her middle school without any notice and surrounding by police, I was given a call and went to the Reno court house where my daughter was and met with my attorney . Judge Wells had sent an abduction unit to remove my daughter from the only home she had ever known. She was 12 years old. It was Dec12, 2003 right before Christmas. She was gone 5 months. I had to quit my job and go on welfare so that I could go to Indio California to fight to get my daughter back. I had other children that I had to leave with people from church for months. My daughter became very sick and depressed. She was treated as a prisoner by her bio- dad. She was mentally abused and more. Judge Wells signed an emergency exparte when her bio- dad falsified alligators that I was abusing my daughter and mire. Yet her bio- dad had Never been in her life. I was his one night stand...we were never in a relationship ..He did not want my daughter. This judge ignored the fact that I had just filed for child support two weeks prior and bio- dad did not want to pay. My daughter and my family were dignified with Post tramatic stress syndrome. My daughter used to be a very happy little girl, she loved art, her last drawing was when she was taken, it was a self-portrait of her crying. She is now 23 yet cannot go to California without getting sick...she has just started drawing agian. My daughter was abused and this JUDGE Wells is the one that allowed it. I list everything because of this Judge. I had to fire my first attorney as he was doing nothing and all my rights had been taken away, so had my daughters. I hired Judge David Franklin, then an attorney. Only because of Franklin, did I get my daughter back. He found that all the papers had been fraudulent. It was found that" Jeff Cantannio had intentionally defrauded the court system and traumatized my daughter Tauni Western age 12. Yet judge Wells still forced my daughter to go for monthly visit, making me pay for flights even though it was found her bio- dad was guilty of fraud and lying. My daughter returnedvto me like a 2 year old when I got her back, she was afraid to go to school, she would see police and hide, she would vomit and cry begging me to not make her go to see him. I was told if she didn't go she would be taken from me again. After one year of serious isdues and my daughter getting sicker, I refused to let her go. I had a friend in the FBI and other church members that were going to take my daughter and hide her if she was forced to go back. This is horrific and should have never gotten to this point. Yet I had no other options.thank God her bio dad finally left her alone. This Judge Wells is a criminal. He knows what he did. To take a 12 year old from her mother when she did not have a relationship with her bio- dad is craxy, . Also his wife was from mexico, did not speak English and stated in court papers that her family and father was the President of Mexico , later to be known as the Mexican cartels drug family. I have all the documents. Please do not allow this Judge to ever practice. I would loved to have him sued for what he did to my family and daughter".
