SB1315 proposes to give Los Angeles County and its cities the authority to enact local restrictions on BB devices and pellet guns. SB1315, if passed, would permit and invite ill-advised local laws that would (1) jeopardize the safety of police officers and the public; (2) create inconsistent and unfair regulations; and (3) negatively impact the local economy.
