I was pulled over by Officer James Stowe after I had gotten stuck and then got myself unstuck in a snowstorm driving on highway 70. He threatened to arrest me for “leaving the scene of an accident” he claimed I had damaged the guard rail, but was informed by cal trans there was no damage. He was forced to let me go but not before trying to hold me to have my husband and 9 month old baby bring me chains, when I could of just driven away with my 4wd pickup. I pushed back and said I was going to file a complaint at which point he let me leave. This was the 4th or 5th time I’ve been pulled over by him. 100’s have all responded with similar stories. Please sign the petition to help make a formal document on how ill regarded he is in our community. He is a danger to the community he serves.
