You sure should learn how to address people. Go read what you wrote and let your conscience speak to you. According to you; "they sponsor visa for freshly graduated international MDs who are not related to the US to outsource resident jobs that should be placed for US citizen foreign trained MDs besides domestic trained MDs.".... Campylobacter - Dr. SMH: I understand why you are upset with what I wrote. But, excuse me to practice freedom of speech as one of the core character of a true American. While political correctness is widely practiced in America, I believe a true American is more real than political correctness to address some uneasy truth. What I try to tell you is the current medical licensing system is in the "twilight zone" (if you look at the cover of my book, Survival Skills for USMLEs, you'll see it is in three colors: white, grey, and black. Grey is the color of "twilight zone"). And when in a twilight zone, things are messed up between right and wrong, between logical and illogical. And that is what happening right now in the current medical licensing system. So, I have the courage to tell the truth, at least to a certain extent, if you put your effort to do some research, you'll find out. I did myself for the last 7 years. Thanks.

and you're a core American because your parents from Thailand or somewhere in rural Asia birthed or brought you to the US? Just listen to yourself feeling privileged because you are a citizen. Sadly in medicine your academic performance is Paramount.... n i bet my last buck your grades were below par!

No, it is the spirit of it of being one part of the nation that has evolved into civilization throughout too much high-priced paid challenges. I love the history of how America is made.
and medicine is a lifelong learning. It is a marathon, it is not a sprint of USMLEs. Physicians, no matter how high scores they have on their boards exam, still have to continuously take CME as long as they are in practice. That is also one point of the PhA program. PhAs will have intensive CME activities and until they become MDs, these CME activities continue.

Also, I think you want to know where I originally came from? I was from Saigon, Vietnam. And you know the Vietnam War? You know how many American soldiers have died in the Vietnam War? 50,000. and hundreds of thousands of soldiers and military civilians who served the war there have come back home America after the war with disability either physically or mentally or both. So, my love for America does not come out of the blue. It is because the American people have paid high price of their sacrifice to protect the Freedom of Saigon, and the South of Vietnam. Even though the outcome of the war is not as what we want, their sacrifice would never go into forgotten in my heart!
And one important point: when i pointed out the wrongdoing in our current licensing system, I did not mean to accuse any individuals here because this is the system deficit. I am sure you know about something called "The Swiss Cheese effect"? that is the description of the serial faults in system deficit, in which one step wrong in the previous section would lead to the next and the next wrong steps. That is what happening right now. And so, if we can do something, even not perfectly fix it, then at least to avoid the serious consequences! It is like the concept of third level of preventive medicine.
So, again, excuse me for speaking up the inconvenient truth, the truth always hurts, but as a physician, you should be able to make the right diagnose among numerous differential diagnoses to treat the disease successfully.
