Governor Brown,

We respectfully request your support for the Bonta Bill AB 187 that passed 40-0 in the Senate.  On behalf of all the children with hemophilia and other rare medical conditions, we ask that you extend the CCS "carve-out" from Medi-Cal managed care for an additional year.

As parents, we are determined to provide the best and optimal care to our children with rare diagnoses including Hemophilia and Von Willebrand disease,  both hereditary bleeding disorders and CCS eligible conditions.  These diseases are chronic, lifelong and incurable but are treatable. We are deeply concerned about our children's medical care should we be forced into joining a managed care program.
