Dear friends of Life: More bad news from the UN to keep us motivated. The average global temperature increase above pre-industrial levels is at 1.2 º Celsius, which means that 2016 is going to end with an average global temperature increase around that value. Yes, this is very bad news. After about 140 years from pre-industrial times, that average reached for the first time in history 1ºC increase in 2015. NOW, IN JUST 10 MONTHS, THAT 1ºC RECORD HAS INCREASED 0.2ºC. The most progressive goal set by the Paris Climate Conference of 2015 of a MAXIMUM 1.5ºC global temperature increase is within striking distance. The Climate Change Disaster is alive and well, we must transform our economies to CARBON-NEGATIVE ECONOMIES in a rush. I encourage you to start petitions (and movements) like this one, in your States, Provinces and Countries , to establish the necessary changes in as many places as possible and as fast as possible.
