Letter to
California Department of Fish and Wildlife
We, the undersigned petitioners, support the continuation of waterfowl hunting in the Tomales Bay Ecological Reserve (TBER) as currently defined by California Department of Fish and Wildlife Regulations.

There has been no negative impact on bird populations as a result of hunting in TBER. In fact, a noted naturalist has stated that bird populations in the area have been increasing at a two-fold rate over the past several years.

Hunting is a time-honored tradition. Hunters have been at the forefront of wildlife conservation for decades, and the revenues brought in by hunting have provided a revenue stream for the State to use to continue wildlife conservation efforts.
