There are places in Kolkata where I have seen people throwing stones and kicking the stray dogs while they are sitting or sleeping. To get rid of them people pour boiling water and hot oil causing serious injuries. They even try to burn them with hot iron rods. I really feel like bringing them home and take care of them but I am helpless. I don't understand what has happened to people and how they turned so evil? This petition is a request from the deepest part of my heart to all the animal lovers and organisations that really care for the well-beings of the strays. Please take a stern action against all these inhuman acts that has devoured our society and help save these poor angels. We all need to stop the mentally retarded people from causing pain to this beautiful creature. People should be made aware that hurting them won't fetch anything. I beg the Government to kindly take initiatives and help control the growth of dog population by the means of sterilization. Everyone has rights to live freely but when it's about stray dogs the more the births the more pain they endure. I really am looking forward towards some really positive approach.
