The Pandemic has continued and online instruction has grown in the difficulty it provides Cal Poly Pomona students. The fault is neither on the institution, professors, or students but instead on the new reality we all live in. In order to aid the campus community Cal Poly Pomona should allow students the same multiple grading options that where offered in the Spring 2020 semester. There are too many outside factors that impact us as students in our present situation. This combined with the Learn By Doing approach that we all signed up for being significantly hindered by online learning, is taking a toll on our mental health. Let us come together as a campus community and help each other get through these troubling times together.
