Currently in Pontllanfraith, Frontier Medical Plastics are planning to build a new industrial unit, which would require the cutting down of 50 year old trees. This could impact flooding and safety.

It’s not only environmental issues, but there are problems with the way Frontier Medical Plastics have approached the situation. Very few people were informed about their plans - only 13 letters were sent out to local residents. These letters were sent out on the deadline day for a response. Some of these residents that will be directly impacted are over 75 years of age.
