We have spoken with plenty of amazing people who have offered their time, energy, and resources to help us. They have given us a load of insight and put us in contact with people we were unaware of who have extended there help. However, these people are all adults, and not high school students. If you are a high school student who lives in Shreveport or Bossier, we would like for you to attend a meeting with us at the Hamilton/South Caddo Branch of the Shreve Memorial Library. This is located near Ridgewood Middle School at 2111 W Bert Kouns Industrial Loop, Shreveport, LA 71118 and we will be meeting there in meeting room A to hopefully get more students behind us and to gather ideas from our fellow students. The meeting will last from 4-7pm on Monday, April 2nd. If you can attend, we would be very grateful, even if you are late we would love if you could attend. We are also trying to get students to attend a meeting with us at the Caddo Parish School Board. If you are able to attend, it will be hosted April 24th, starting at 4:30 pm.
