A petition to ban the Cadbury's Creme Egg advert featuring two men kissing has received more than 21,000 signatures, with people saying that it is 'offensive for religious reasons' and also 'explicit'. I am therefore encouraging Cadbury's to not only let the advert continue, but also to amplify it. Put simply, if you're winding up that many people with an image that essentially just shows two people who are in love, you're doing something right.

After all, millions of us were brought up with the image of a woman doing something to a flake in a bathtub which was suggestive beyond belief. Was there any outrage? Of course not.

So I am encouraging Cadbury's to 'go big' and get it on those giant screens in Piccadilly Circus if need be or even every bus in Britain. Love is love.
