We are heading into the final days before the Cabarrus County Board of Education make their decision regarding the closure of Beverly Hills STEM Elementary School. We are overwhelmed by the support we've garnered thus far (nearly 4000 signatures!!!) and are reminded why we LOVE our neighborhood, the City of Concord, and our community at large. This Monday, December 4 is the final public hearing at 4401 Old Airport Rd, Concord, NC 28025. This will be our last opportunity to express our opposition to the BOE on the closure of BHES (and ultimately RBM as well as CWES) before they vote on December 11. Please consider emailing ailene.monroe@cabarrus.k12.nc.us and asking her to reserve a spot for you to speak. Even if all you say is "I do not support the closure of BHES or any of our historic neighborhood schools" your voice is important! Please wear PURPLE!!!
