As of this morning at 6:00 am, we have 1950 signers in support of our beloved Menlo Park Guild Theater (982 have signed this online petition and 968 have signed our print petition at selected weekend showings at the theater) -we missed the Christmas holiday showings, as our volunteer was out of town or we would have higher "at theater" numbers. Please help us meet our first goal of 2000 supporters by mentioning the petition to your friends and posting on Facebook or other social media. We could use volunteers to post information on nextdoor.com in Redwood City, Mountain View, Los Altos and Los Altos Hills, San Jose and other peninsula cities. Are you part of a film group? Please contact your fellow members. At this past weekend's film we had signers at the theater who came from Berkeley, San Francisco, San Carlos, San Mateo. Come to the afternoon shows at 2 and 5 (and the evening show at 8pm) today, Martin Luther King Day! Thanks for the support of 1950 signers - 2000 is our first major goal.
