As of this morning (11-8-16) we have a total of 1055 supporters of our petition in support of the survival of Menlo Park's Guild theater, which includes the 588 online supporters on this change.org petition and an additional 467 who signed the print petition at 4 Menlo Park Sunday farmer's markets and 7:00pm weekend evening and some afternoon showings of The Dressmaker and A Man Called Ove, and the Nov. 5 Rocky Horror Picture Show. We're getting support from an excellent cross-section of individuals from Menlo Park, and residents of neighboring cities who come to the Guild regularly for Landmark's great selection of independent and foreign films. We're looking for updates of the theater's situation with the real estate firm handling the property and Landmark Theatre management, and will keep you posted any support we get from the City of Menlo Park - in addition to Councilman Mueller.
