my father Eric Austen designed and made the first CND badges ,

... I am very angry with the Holtoms.. I can see how they have totally taken advantage of my fathers generous, kind, and brilliant nature,

, he designed the CND sign..

...I was there

. he talked about it to me, I saw him... but he was a humble man,, there are a lot of them, the Holtoms.. and one of me.

. I've tried and tried to find them but they want to take all the glory .. and for what ?

My father asked Gerald Holtom to collaborate with him.

.. they both came from Norfolk at the same time,both Pacisfists, both went to Art school... were friends..

I was with my father when he was working on the design,,, the real secret is what it means..
which I know.. AND I know they don't.. anyway as a bit of a giveaway,,

the design was black and white..

, my father only ever used black and white.

It was infintely simple..

my father told me the best designs had to be kept simple.. my father explained the whole process to me when he designed the sign. my father was an Artist .. Gerald was a draftsman..

. so I am finally going to stick up for my family.

. I know the truth...

they were older than me.. but managed to get an American to write a book about them [the Holtoms] .

. they have done everything in their power to exclude my father,, I am really fed up with it,,
if they had even mentioned him, but they were deternined to make what they could out of it.. Gea Austen
