Our goal is to convince the Kentucky State legislature to pass legislation to implement a step program to assist Kentucky's Homeless Veterans to get them off the street, help the receive the Heath care they need, help them receive temporary housing, help the get back in the workforce in order for them to move into permanent housing of their own and become self sufficient. 1st step--Remove our Homeless Veterans off the street and into temporary housing in which they could receive the medical care needed. 2nd step--Once they are healthy, they would into temporary housing lasting for up to one year. 3rd step--Help them get a job through a temporary placement agency. 4th step--After the year, we get them into subsidized housing. They would get Obama Care and VA health care. 5th step--They have a max of two years in the program. At the end of two years in the program, they could apply for a VA Loan and hopefully they could get permanent housing of their own.
