The North Coast Regional Plan states the importance of the Pacific Highway for freight and encouraging industrial development and a freight hub in Ballina. It specifically mentions the importance of preserving important farmland in Byron village including Bangalow. The land of 201 Lismore Road and surrounds is PRIME AGRICULTURAL LAND. This DA contradicts it in so many ways with no access to the highway for transportation of goods and the destruction of both prime agricultural land and the natural environment with the presence of threatened species. Time to say no!
