The attached picture is just the beginning of this massive industrial factory development proposed for 201 Lismore Road. The proposed DA states doubling the size which means double the traffic in terms of trucks and vehicles. Byron Creek runs at the back of the site this creek meanders through Bangalow and has a platypus population that could be threatened by this development. The existing non intrusive industrial estate can be seen across the road. SAY NO to this massive development which is in the wrong site and just too big in proportion to our unique village. They state it will be more jobs for Bangalow but in their own DA it says the majority of jobs will come from Lismore, Casino and Kyogle. They also are working off a environmental angle but it is on farmland, building a factory on our significant farmland is wrong on all counts. Traffic will go along a roads that koalas are seen on this is not an environmental plus for Bangalow. It is a disaster.
