7 years ago I worked at Butlins minehead & one thing I noticed was how many LGBT people there were either working there or as a guest and I thought what a good idea it would be to have an LGBT pride weekend once a year,my collegues thought this was a good idea so I spoke to the chiefs at bourne leisure and there reply was it is something they would consider if they get enough interest.7 years later.....nothing.They do adult weekends throughout the year so why not do an LGBT weekend.Understandably it wont be anything like gran can pride but just picture it....3 entertainment venues with bands,drag acts,comedians,celebrities,a free swimming pool and funfair,bars,restaurants,clubs,free entertainment,beach right opposite and accomodation on site.so...the resort capacity is 6000 guests,if I can get 6000 signatures it will encourage butlins to do something.So please sign this petition and share amongst your friends,family,collegues,facebook,twitter etc... And lets have a fun weekend to be proud of.Thank you
