Bunsen Is a Beast is a show created by Butch Hartman that ran on Nicktoons from January 16 2017 - February 10 2018. Hartman and crew had plans for the show to have three seasons but he left Nickelodeon before renewing it for even a second season.

Nickelodeon unfairly cancelled Bunsen airings due to low ratings, but it continued to air on Nicktoons. They claimed the show did better in reruns, but after the show's finale they completely removed the reruns in America. The reruns still air in countries such as Britain and Latin America.

I'm not exactly sure why Butch left Nickelodeon, but I think he said that after 20 years of working there he decided to go and work on other projects. He and the crew have been dropping small hints on their social media pages for the fans about what those second and third seasons were going to entail. The plot seems very promising, many unanswered questions would have been answered and the show would finally be given the chance to wrap up its story and let Butch finish telling it.

Jeremy Rowley, the voice of Bunsen, has been nominated for an Annie for 'Outstanding Achievement for Voice Acting in an Animated Television / Broadcast Production' in 2018.

Due to the show's happy-go-lucky style it has helped a lot of fans suffering from anxiety, depression and other illness or just to brighten their day. The show teaches important life lessons for both young and old

The Bunsen Is a Beast fandom has grown a lot since the cancellation was announced February 9th 2016 and the fans launched #SaveBIAB.

The fans don't want the show to go on forever, they are only asking Nick for two more seasons, for the fans to enjoy more of Bunsen's adventures and to give the show and its crew some closure.
