This petition was created by the admin of the "Petition for Busch Gardens Williamsburg to reopen Corkscrew Hill" Facebook page. The purpose of this petition is to encourage Busch Gardens Williamsburg to reopen "Corkscrew Hill." Corkscrew Hill was an Indoor 3-D adventure ride in the Ireland section of Busch Gardens Williamsburg. It was closed after the 2009 season and was replaced by a (rather terrible) ride called "Europe in the Air," a flight simulator ride. Europe in the Air is good for escaping the heat, but it lacks the build up and excitement of Corkscrew Hill, which was a full adventure packed into a great 3 minute ride. I feel that if there is enough support, then we can petition for this ride to reopen, because Busch Gardens sacrificed an amazing ride for one that was just a huge disappointment.
