As an integral part of Nevada's mining history, the burros should be celebrated for their contributions to our state.  A proclamation declaring their importance and making decisions that will help to conserve their numbers and habitats will help ensure that generations to come will be able to witness burros in their wild, natural, state. Burros have survived for generations and generations in some of the harshest enviornments. Surely, they have earned status as wild and should be honored as free to roam the state they helped create.
