Last night Legendary skater from Burien Tim Hunter was put on life support and unfortunately passed away, Tim has been skating Burien skatepark since it was build twenty five years ago and he’s always been there to protect the younger members of the skateboarding community from Drugs, Alcohol, etc. Once he even made a petition to have the name of Burien skatepark not changed to Jasmine Tully Memorial Skatepark since she had nothing to do with the Burien skate scene and he knew that. Since all the regulars who skated Burien as their local park liked Tim and knew him as a friend and prominent member of the skateboarding community in Burien I propose we change the name of Burien Skatepark to Tim Hunter Memorial Skatepark.
