Check out this amazing video! Our activists protested outside a Burger King restaurant in São Paulo, demanding that the company stop serving eggs and pork from hens and pigs locked up for life in tiny cages.  They used a 3 meter-tall blow-up pig and one of the activists wore a mask of the billionaire Jorge Paulo Lemann’s face, one of the owners of Burger King. They acted out the scene that we want to see happen in real life, releasing another activist dressed up like a chicken from a cage. Other activists held a sign that read: “Lemann, end the torture of animals in Burger King.” After the protest, Burger King issued a statement to the Brazilian media saying they care about animal welfare, but avoiding any commitment to phase out the use of cruel cages in Latin America. It is time to increase the pressure to let Burger King know that vague, meaningless statements like this won’t fool us. Follow the instructions below and protest with us! Go to Lemann’s page www.facebook.com/JorgePauloLemannOficial and leave the following message: Please be kind and #SayNoToCages at #BurgerKing, Lemann. Vague statements to the media won’t solve the problem www.change.org/burgerkingcages Alternatively, you can email him at info@3g-capital.com. Many thanks for fighting with us! The Animal League
