Destiny 2 has released and much controversy has followed. Whether it be throttling experience gains for all players, locking out content that was already in the game behind a DLC paywall, or their general lack of transparency with players on which direction they are taking the game in, it's very clear Destiny 2 has been a failure with longtime fans of the series. 

Many fans such as myself, have decided to jump ship and return to the original Destiny instead. However, before Destiny 2 launched, Bungie made the decision to remove the Iron Banner and Trials of Osiris events from Destiny 1. This was done in an attempt to get people interested in the sequel, which was coming out soon at the time. 

This leaves a huge chunk of the game missing, making it so there is no longer a PvP end game for players, leaving PvE to be the only suitable way to level up. This is very unfair to PvP players, as they solely logged on just to play the Trials of Osiris or Iron Banner.

Just because the new game is out, it doesn't mean they should lock out all of this content to players. If someone were to buy Destiny 1 right now, they would have a gutted experience where there is some loot they cannot earn simply because these events no longer exist.

Bungie should not be locking this content away from players, and we deserve to be able to play it again.
