When a community doesn’t have a recreational center, it impacts a lot of people. Local residents might feel bored and lonely because there’s no fun place to go. Kids like us miss out on safe spots to play and make friends. Families have fewer chances to spend time together, and people in high school or college can feel left out without activities to join. Businesses may not get as many customers since there aren’t community events, and groups that help people struggle to find places to meet. All I mean is without a rec center, everyone can feel less active and connected, which isn’t good for their health or happiness.
