Protect Ogden, NY residents from rampant Solar Plant development

Protect Ogden, NY residents from rampant Solar Plant development
The Issue
We want to stop current applications for large-scale solar development in our town, and strengthen laws to protect nearby residents. "Big Solar" plans to turn our vibrant farming community into an industrial-scale power plant catering to the energy demands of people that don't want to place solar panels on THEIR OWN rooftops. 4 applications are either approved or being considered now. They want to turn all-natural farmlands, and native forestland in our backyards, into barren construction zones paved in glass panels, covered in power lines, and littered with electrical equipment. They downplay the dangers, from fires, from non-RoHS compliant electronics, the negative impact on safety, local wildlife, on our homes, and the character of our town and our quality of life. Protect our community. Help us insure Industrial-Scale power plants are placed in industrial areas, not in residential neighborhoods.
