The Key Biscayne Pickleball Club is composed of active members of our community and keen enthusiasts of the sport of pickleball.  We have noticed the increasing popularity of this sport amongst our neighbors, mirroring the trend nationwide. Pickleball has become one of the fastest-growing sports in America, offering a great way to stay fit and enjoy a valued leisure activity for all ages (source: USAPA).

Our community in Key Biscayne, however, lacks facilities to meet this rising demand. Therefore, the aim of this petition is to seek permission for privately or publicly funded construction of two pickleball courts, complete with a small seating area with a total of approximately 4,000 sqft area of our public space. The proposed setup is space-efficient, requires minimal maintenance and, crucially, would meet the sporting needs of our vibrant community.

Our residents are united in their passion for pickleball, and we believe that establishing these courts will enhance the quality of life and communal bonds in Key Biscayne. Your support in this initiative can make a significant difference in fostering an active, healthy community.
