For more than three decades, the people of the Barossa Valley have advocated for a new regional hospital.

With the latest hospital business case complete and before the State Government’s Health Cabinet Committee, now is the time for action to ensure that this time, the community’s voice is heard.

While our current health facilities continue to serve us, the need for a new regional hospital which can provide essential health services and meet demand is evident, as buildings age and the region grows.

The Leader stands behind the community in its advocacy for a new hospital.

That’s why we have initiated a petition to our state government to ensure sufficient funding is allocated in next year’s State Budget for the construction of a new Barossa hospital.

The evidence is there. The planning has been done.
