Whoa, it has been a few months!

Hello Supporters!

I realize it has been a few months now since our Basin Recreation meeting and any update that you may be deserving of! I have been ping-ponging during those months what precisely to share with all of you, as the update would still be... well... short. 

That said, the meeting went great! There were absolutely some ideas that Basin Recreation head, Dana, thought to be against us in the initial sharing. However, she also seemed to provide some alternatives and problem-solving thoughts of her own. 

While our bunny hill is still something she and the rest of her team is still contemplating as a B.R. project, we have not received a hard "no" at this point. We consider this a win!

As a matter of fact, we have also narrowed down an ideal location proposed in the Trailside Bike Park and Disk Golf course area. Throughout the winter, these areas are empty of activity and users; the land just does not offer any winter recreation at this time. With our bunny hill in this location, the community could expect the Trailside area to remain active year-round and it would really brighten up the space with happy, adventuring kids (on two skis and arms flailing)!

We have a follow-up virtual meeting with B.R.'s planning team, SE Group, in the first week of July. We are hoping this will give us an idea of whether B.R. is going to include the bunny hill in their Master Plans - or otherwise. This will allow us to continue on down whichever avenue we must in order to check all of our options. 

Thank you for all the support, and all the patience in this endeavour. Updates will remain far-and-few between as we have entered a "waiting period," of sorts. 

It never hurts to continue to rack up the signatures, so keep sharing for the seasons to come!
