At Least We Aren't in the Sierra Nevadas!

Hello Supporters!
Holy cow, this snow just won't cease! I don't know about you all, but my ATV with a plow blade is just not cutting it this season. On the positive, I can still see my house unlike many in the Sierra Nevada Mountains! Sending positive snow-control vibes everyone's way...
We are still gearing up for our meeting with Basin Recreation and the SE Group representatives on April 21st.
I personally have had many fantastic meetings with leaders of some of our most respected recreation and open space organizations here in Park City. I have also continued to reach out and ask questions of other towns around the U.S. that have implemented their own bunny hills.
Needless to say I have learned a lot from each individual and have heeded any information or advice they have provided. On that note, some of the details I have been researching include:
- Zoning rules and ownership for bunny hill land areas we have in mind
- Costs related to conveyor carpets, snow making, and grooming equipment
- Additional partners that may be interested in joining this project
One thing I can say is that I am learning way more than I ever expected to! I also feel inclined to say that this is TOTALLY DOABLE! We can introduce a community hill to Park City - and bring everyone together, outside, for the winters to come.
Thank you, thank you to all 1,559 individuals that have expressed support for our local bunny hill. Keep sharing with your network in Park City, UT!
