Taking Action upon and Idea!

So much Spring skiing!

Our efforts are proving to be going in the right direction, supporters.

With multiple meetings already having happened and more coming up, we have had the privilege of speaking to some long-standing Park City residents and other organizational representatives that have had their own positive impact on our community over the years. 

Moreover, our committee has grown and each individual onboard truly has something unique to offer in the implementation of our mission. As the originator of the petition, I am so thankful for the devoted professionals - and residents, parents, athletes, friends - that have joined me in making this happen.

While we remain in that information and fact-gathering phase, the data we have collected so far is strong and promising. Keep in mind this is a process and time with careful implementation will be our key to success! 

On that note, timing could not be better! Basin Recreation is working on its 10-year Master Plan (we have a meeting in April); Summit County is now also working on its 10-year Master Plan; the ski resort executives found it necessary to meet regarding the resorts' roles in our community versus their focus on profits (this is one opportunity for them to get involved at the local level); and overall DEI is at a low providing us an opportunity to show the public entities that a bunny hill is a wonderful wintertime way to bring everyone together - no matter their socio-economic standing - and re-plant those "grass roots." 

Please, keep SHARING the petition with your Park City friends, family, co-workers, social media groups, workout class groups, etc.! The public entities are hearing about our endeavor even before I send an email or pick up the phone. This is wonderful!
