I am blown away by the desire for a town bunny hill in Park City!
As of this morning at 7:15am, we are at 334 signatures! 500 would really drive an impression for next week's meeting with Basin Recreation. Let's shoot for it by, as always, SHARING the petition link with your friends, family, co-workers, and on your social media:

I wanted to share that yesterday I was able to connect with a friend who has two young girls just a little older than my son. We made the plan Friday night to reserve a free carpool spot at PCMR.
We met at the Park City High School parking lot by 8:45am; the lot was already nearly full. Plus, not sure about everyone else, but we found that lot to be a maze!! We were quite confused on how to get out.
By the time we got to PCMR, the large carpool lot was not full, but about half to three quarters there. It was an easy walk to the bunny hill, of course.
We had about 6-7 runs down the bunny hill - including a 5 minute break for apples and hot chocolate - within about thirty minutes; at which point, the bunny hill was beginning to show that it was both too small and not enough for Park City. New adult skiers, mixed with toddler skiers, mixed with pre-teen skiers, mixed with NAC groups (love that they get people out there; I support this greatly). Needless to say, we left. The kiddos were expressing they were about done, but also, the crowds on the bunny hill were looking like those that you see coming down Home Run and between Crescent and First Time, during the Christmas Holiday... treacherous.
I have received a few comments opposing what this effort is for. I will continue to push for it until all channels fizzle. But, voices cannot be ignored and signatures on this petition will speak; so will showing up for Basin Recreation's meeting March 2nd at the Fieldhouse from 6p-8p. Yes, I did have to get a sister in order to attend this meeting. I will be there.
Thank you to all of you that are encouraging this bunny hill! I think it will make a difference for decision-makers to see how the community feels!
