Hi to all our Town Square Supporters,

Just wanted to update you, to let you know that the 'United Scarborough - Residents Action Group' are still hard at work behind the scenes to make this happen!!!...our Petition numbers are now at 1200+ (that's combined, digital and paper versions) and we now have a team assembled to smash the target number of 5,000 out of the park, by going door-to-door collecting signatures and talking to local residents about the group, the Town Square project and our aims.  We are currently also working on a '3D CGI Visuals' of the Town Square, day and night, ground and ariel views, to show off it's various uses (sneak preview in the photo, basic so far as it's a work in progress, but you get the idea), to be combined with a scoping document for a Full Presentation Package to be presented to North Yorkshire Council as soon as we reach the magic 5,000 number on our Petition...so on that note, it's over to you guys... please show some solidarity for our Home Town and share the hec of of the Peition on all platforms across social media, on your personal profile page and any groups you belong to, tell all your friends and family, about the potential to revamp our retail main street and markets combined and to create a great public use, outdoor space for alsorts of community and entertainment events for generations of Scarborians to enjoy...We need the whole Scarborough Community to pull together now✒...We Can DO This!!...We Can make it happen!!!...it only takes a second to click that 'Share' button folks☝...Thanks for your input and support so far... if your interested and want to find out more about our Town Square proposal and any other issues we're covering, please pop by for a cuppa and chat to our United Scarborough Monthly Group Meeting...next one on Saturday 2nd September, Upstairs in the Function Room at The Harbour Bar on the Seafront at 10am -12noon
