Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in America. This is definitely evident in the central Mississippi area and Flowood as well. Flowood currently has 4 public courts but there is considerably more demand then there are courts available. 
It would great if the city of Flowood considered adding more courts somewhere in Flowood, with 8+ courts.
 I definitely believe there will be more than enough interest. The courts at Winner’s Circle Park probably average 80-100 players every day from morning until night.
The courts at Winners Circle has only been available for a few months and it’s already seen this kind of growth and is on pace to continue to grow rapidly.
Pickleball is a very family friendly and accommodating sport that provides activity for seniors, children and young adults. The revenue for a larger facility in Flowood could be staggering. According to Globe Newswire, the pickleball market is currently already a billion dollar market, worth almost $1.2 billion in 2021 and is expected to reach $2.14 billion by 2027, following a CAGR of 10.32% across the period.
We hope the city will consider adding more.
