South Florida Beach Volleyball Is Heading The Wrong Way!

South Florida, we are heading the wrong way. While athletes of diverse ages and backgrounds continue to represent South Florida by battling for 1st place at local beach volleyball tournaments, South Florida is not showing support for this fast-growing sport and community. As beach volleyball continues to grow as the fastest-growing NCAA sport over the last five years, Miami continues to neglect the existing courts and refuses to provide more public beach volleyball courts. Miami has already lost a court at Shenandoah Park. The Underline Plan has excluded beach volleyball from its plan, despite the support from the community. The City of Miami refused to put another court at Margaret Pace Park. The University of Miami is cracking down on the courts at Lakeside. Morningside Park may lose a court in their new plan. The two courts in Indian Hammocks Park were never replaced. We cannot allow any more courts to come down without building more courts! The time is now to share this petition and help us reach 1,000 signatures. We're only 300 signatures away. With your help, we will gain more momentum and continue to garner support behind our mission! Share this petition with your friends and family to help us reach 1,000 signatures!
