I've lived in Amarillo my entire life and not once have I seen anything lively for the youth here. We’re always told there’s something better to explore elsewhere, but some of us want to have an experience where we can meet new people, bond over music, and experience once in a lifetime opportunities right in our hometown.

For many, music is not just a hobby , it’s a passion and a way to connect with others. As a long-time K-pop fan, I've always dreamed of experiencing the joy of attending a concert and seeing my favorite artist perform live. Unfortunately, this dream feels unattainable due to the lack of suitable venues for such events in Amarillo.

Building dedicated stadiums for hip-hop and K-pop events would not only fulfill this dream but also stimulate cultural growth, economic benefits, and community engagement in Amarillo. According to a report by Billboard, K-pop is rapidly gaining popularity worldwide, even more so in the United States, where fanbases are growing exponentially. This trend is mirrored by the rise in global demand for live K-pop events.

The construction of dedicated stadiums would pave the way for international artists to include Amarillo in their tour schedules. This, in turn, would draw fans from neighboring regions, boosting local tourism and business.
