We, the undersigned residents and community members of Derry Township, respectfully request that the Township Board of Supervisors and Parks & Recreation Department prioritize the funding, planning, and construction of dedicated public pickleball courts in our township parks.

Pickleball is the fastest-growing recreational activity in the region, bringing together youth, families, and seniors for social engagement and physical activity. However, current local access is limited, leading to severe overcrowding, long wait times, and court line conflicts on multi-use tennis and basketball surfaces.

By signing this petition, we urge Derry Township to:

1. Allocate space and capital improvement funds for dedicated pickleball courts with permanent nets, lights and proper fencing.

2. Include dedicated court infrastructure in upcoming township parks master planning.

3. Partner with local players and community groups on maintenance and potential matching grant opportunities.
