The issue we are addressing is the lack of parking for KingsWay students, which has become a daily frustration and a genuine barrier to getting to school safely and on time. With limited spaces available, students are forced to park far away, compete for unsafe roadside spots, or arrive excessively early just to secure parking. By adding a dedicated student car park, we can improve accessibility, reduce congestion, and create a safer environment not only for students but also for surrounding residents who are currently impacted by overflow parking. This petition aims to show that the problem is affecting a large number of people and that a practical, community‑focused solution is needed. Our goal is to gather enough support to demonstrate that expanding parking is not just convenient, it’s essential for student wellbeing and the overall functioning of the community in Silverdale.
