I have witnessed the difficulty of disabled people walking on the streets. The sadness and helplessness make people question the empathy and fairness of our society. I have also seen women being excluded by prejudice and discrimination in various occasions. In our society, gender discrimination is everywhere and is inseparable from our lives. Through this petition, I hope to call on everyone to jointly build and improve all facilities that are convenient for disabled people, such as blind paths, wheelchair access, etc., and prohibit all forms of gender discrimination.

About 15% of the population in our society has some form of disability (source: World Health Organization), but the construction of convenient facilities lags far behind the actual need. We should change this situation so that everyone can freely enter and exit public spaces.

At the same time, according to UN statistics, nearly 50% of women and girls in the world have experienced gender discrimination in public places (data source: UN Gender Equality Statistics). Such widespread gender discrimination cannot be ignored. In addition, we must also increase the legal penalties for rape and increase the likelihood that rapists will be brought to justice. Any form of sexual assault must not be tolerated, and we need to punish it severely to prevent more innocent people from suffering from it.
