The former Bay Shore Bowling Alley located at 1840 Sunrise Highway has been vacant for several years. We the undersigned are petitioning the Town of Islip to request that this vacant property be developed into an ice skating facility. This proposed rink will accommodate residents who participate in Ice Skating, Ice Hockey, Figure Skating and other ice related activities.

The site is currently zoned as recreational property within the Town of Islip. The addition of this recreational space will generate income for the town, create jobs and be a safe space for teens to skate and have fun.
