I witness several deer, raccoons, and skunks crossing the road every day. Sometimes they are hit, causing death to the wildlife and damage to commuters. Serious delays are caused by this. To ensure the safety of both wildlife and drivers, we need a designated animal crossing along state road I89 in Utah. Wildlife crossings have been proven to reduce animal-vehicle collisions by up to 90% (source: Federal Highway Administration).
