Hi, my name is Harry and I am ten years old. After learning how to skateboard on holiday, I realised that there is no place in West Byfleet where I can play or practice skateboarding. This made me think about how many children in our community do not have a place to play outdoors and have fun. Nowadays, kids are spending too much time on their phones or iPads instead of enjoying nature and playing outside. I believe that a skate park in West Byfleet Park would be a great solution!

Building a skate park would provide children and young people with a safe and fun place where they can be active and healthy. It would also help reduce screen time, encourage physical activity, and promote a sense of community. Many other towns have skate parks where kids can learn new tricks, make friends, and enjoy being outside. Why should West Byfleet be any different?

There is enough space in West Byfleet Park to build a skate park that is accessible to everyone, regardless of age or skill level. It could include ramps, rails, and open areas for kids, teens, and even adults to practice their skills and have fun together. Imagine all the friendships that could be made and the laughter that could be heard!

I am asking for the support of the West Byfleet community and other supporters who want to see children playing outside and enjoying their youth in a healthy, active way. Let's make West Byfleet Park a place where kids can have fun, learn new skills, and create wonderful memories!

Please sign this petition if you support the idea of building a skate park in West Byfleet Park. Together, we can make this dream a reality for all the children of West Byfleet!
