Maryland State Highway 450 is a road frequently used by many bikers and drivers. Yet, the road remains relatively unused by those who walk places, due to its lack of safe sidewalks. The purpose of this petition is to convince the Maryland State Highway Association to consider constructing a sidewalk from Jolie Place to Old Willow Way. This sidewalk would allow those that live in Jolie Place to safely access the other parts of Crofton and would allow students to walk to their homes without fear of life-threatening injury.
