The photo above is of the Newhaven pump track, just incase you’ve never heard of one before. We are hoping to gain enough support to prove to the council that having a Pump Track at Wild Park, or in the close surrounding areas, would provide so many children in the area a safe place to play on their bikes, meet up with friends and most importantly have fun. It will provide a wonderful area for young children, teenagers, and families in Moulsecoomb, Coldean and surrounding areas to enjoy. A pump track has been a huge success in Newhaven and Burgess Hill, making a positive impact on those communities and proven to reduce anti social behaviour. We know they’re building a PT on Hove seafront, but that’s way too far for the younger children to travel, so let's create the same opportunity this side of town for our local kids!
