Sidewalks to go in starting 2027!

Hi all! 

Exciting news! I have an update regarding sidewalks on 10th Ave NE! Here is the update from the email I received: 

"My colleagues at Seattle Parks and Recreation were forwarded your email requesting sidewalks on 10th Ave NE near Jackson Park. I oversee the New Sidewalks Program at the Seattle Department of Transportation and I have some good news to share with you. We have an approved and funded concept for a walkway on 10th Ave NE between Roosevelt Way NE and the Jackson Park Trail. The walkway is planned to be on the east side of the street. Design will begin in the next few months and construction could begin as soon as 2027. Once we have a preliminary design to share, we will begin outreach to the neighbors. Design and construction will be funded by the 2024 Seattle Transportation Levy."
